All Serbian and foreign citizens may be users of Belgrade City Library. In order to become a member, Serbian citizens must present their personal ID card, and foreign citizens must present their passport, in accordance with the Rulebook on Conditions, Manners of Using and Protecting Library Materials of the Belgrade City Library.

Upon becoming a member and receiving a membership card, a user acquires the right to use all library holdings and services of the Belgrade City Library Network

Your membership card

On becoming a member, a user receives his or her membership card. Membership fees are valid for a period of one year from the date of registration. A user becomes a member of the Library once their membership fee is paid and their membership card is received. Upon registration, it is necessary to submit all valid documents (a personal ID card, refugee ID card, IDP ID card, and, for foreign citizens, a passport and certificate during registration).

A membership card may not be transferred to another person.

Foreign citizens, upon becoming a member and paying a deposit of the amount established by the valid price-list of the Library, may be a user of the Library’s services and may thereafter borrow library materials.

Every member of the Library must act in accordance with the Rulebook on Conditions, Manners of Using and Protecting Library Materials.
